Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself? Where do you live?

I'm Limbania, and I currently live in Luxembourg. However, I originally lived in South America (Argentina) but moved to Europe.

Q: What is your background in coding?

I actually started coding about eight years ago. I studied at the university and later worked for a bank in Argentina. I do have experience in desktop and databases, but I found the web environment quite fascinating, so I decided to learn about web development.

Q: Why did you choose Altcademy for learning coding?

There are many reasons why I chose Altcademy. I appreciated the fact that I could learn at my own pace, which works well with my travel plans. Also, Altcademy's pricing was attractive. Moreover, I was specifically interested in learning about Ruby on Rails.

Q: How has your experience with Altcademy been so far?

I genuinely enjoy the program. The projects are my favorite part as they offer hands-on experience and a chance to put what I've learned into practice. Although some content tends to be repetitive as I already have some knowledge about it, I appreciate the depth of the information that helps me refresh and consolidate my coding skills.

Q: What are your study plans?

I'm flexible with my studying hours. Sometimes I study throughout the week, or I do all my classes in one day or over the weekend, depending on my travel schedule. However, my goal is to finish the course by December.

Q: What are your goals after completing the program?

I'd love to secure a full-time job in Europe (Luxembourg). A tech company would be ideal for me, and I'm particularly interested in joining Amazon. I believe the certification from this course would be extremely beneficial in achieving this goal, as it's crucial in Europe to have a certificate demonstrating your expertise in the subject matter.

Yes, I've sought help from my mentors, especially for the projects. They've been instrumental in helping me fix some bugs and errors, enabling me to pass the exams and learn effectively.
